Week 18 (Final)

Sunday evening wrap-up: Completed quite a few this week. The weekend was clear, which is unusual. There's a few things that I got checked off that I only partially completed, so I need to put them into next week to get them done.

Saturday evening - I was very productive today. I know this will not be possible next weekend. I will work hard to make sure that I am planning for even less than I did this week because, yeah... 72 items to do tomorrow... and I thought today was huge with 67 done. (Also, I did part of 6 items that I'll finish up tomorrow.) 17 items moving to tomorrow.

Friday evening - after a week of willing it to be Friday, it's actually here. We had a really nice meal tonight with chicken, gravy, potatoes cooked in garlic and oil (crispy outsides, savory taste), sauteed mushrooms (amazing) and asparagus. I only grew to appreciate asparagus in the past few years and it sure was tasty. What a great meal. Played catch with Ben and then after the children were in bed, I installed the security box inside the mailbox and a safety gate across the window in the kitchen since Ben keeps climbing on the table. In total, I got 35 items completed and postponed 25 into tomorrow. Finished a book at lunch today.

Thursday evening - I made the choice early this morning to have a less productive day. Or perhaps I made the choice late last night. I'm reading a really good book and I couldn't put it down. I have an alarm that goes off at 11:45 telling me to put books down and go to bed and I snoozed it a few times. So then this morning I decided I was going to sleep in. Still, I did OK, mostly because I just did a lot of stuff really late tonight and ended up starting my exercise late. I should still be able to get upstairs close to on time. I'm leaving 20 tasks undone. All of the Wii exercises that have been building up all week, some calendar stuff and some minor cleaning stuff, like the stairs and foyer

Wednesday evening - I got a lot done despite the engagement tonight. A lot of it was a very productive morning before work. I think that was due to a really good night's sleep. Pretty much completed everything I wanted to.

Tuesday evening - I got woken up in the middle of the night by a child again. So I slept in. So I did a lot less today than I had planned. It's really quite annoying. Hopefully I sleep better tonight. I am not within my calories today due to some bad choices at work. I might be able to get a little more done tonight (to check off tomorrow) since it's on the early side and we're done exercising and watching TV. Technically, I shouldn't feel too bad - I did close 33 items, just that I'm postponing 19 items. There was a chance that we were going to have a impromptu visit from out-of-town friends but that didn't happen.

Not completed today:
  • A few things in Quicken, any exercising on the Wii, refilling the soap dispensers, a blog post (again.. sigh.. though I started one), some reading

Monday evening - A good day. I didn't do well on my diet, but I'm still way under my calories.

  • Wii exercise - ran out of time this evening, did other stuff instead
  • Photos - I still need a few this month. We'll try Wednesday. Hopefully my meeting that evening won't get in the way.
  • Blog post - didn't get one written today
