Sunday, May 26 - 11:13 pm - It was not a good day.  There were lots of good elements, but I did not do well today.  I have some ideas of what I should have done differently, it's just now the problem of catching it sooner and making correction.  As far as this process is concerned, it was a good week.  I left a lot on the table but I am smarter about what is possible in a week - like the weekends - I should expect to get less done, not more.  But overall, I should expect to get less done.  That I got as much done as I did was the result of a lot of simpler tasks being repeated.  I'm unsure about calories.

Friday, May 24 - 11:58 pm - I didn't meet my weight goal this week.  I'm also out of the running (er, walking) to meet my walking goal this week as well.  Lots of rain and a busy week.  I did meet my jumping jack goal and will meet my situp and pushup goal tomorrow.  There's that, at least.

Thursday, May 23 - 10:29 pm - No walk today. I think the rain qualified as at least torrential. A walk today would probably qualify as a swim. I didn't put a lot of stuff on my to do list today because I've struggled to get a lot done the past few days and because I had a dentist appointment. I didn't actually get home any later than usual, but for some reason still not a lot checked off. Though some of the stuff was one-time or had lengthy repeat cycles.  Reading has suffered lately between walking with others at lunch and a really difficult book I've been working on (and trying to get to bed earlier).  The book asks me to do a lot of writing and since I've only been reading at night, I don't want to go find the laptop and do some writing, so I've kinda gotten stuck. I'm wondering if I have the time in my life at the moment to do the work necessary to do this book. (It's a fiction writing book my dad got me longer ago than I'd like to admit.)

Tuesday, May 21 - 10:09 pm - Another good day. Worked from home in the afternoon so we could have a plumber come and look at an issue. Wasn't sure if it was going to be a big deal or not - grateful to learn it was actually quite minor. There's a point in the future where I'll need to rip out some drywall and insulation.  Won't be easy to fix, but I think I can do it. I didn't finish all the stuff I had on my list, but I did some other stuff, some big stuff.  Weighed myself and was disappointed with the results, so not updating the chart. Maybe tomorrow.

Monday, May 20 - 10:46 pm - Good first day - though it feels more like Wednesday than Monday. Tasks completed exceeds starting amount because I did some from later in the week and because some tasks I did more than once.  Things look better in a number of categories, but not email. Yikes. I'll try to get a walk in tomorrow, but I have to be at home in the afternoon for the plumbers, so not sure if I'll hav time to get one in tomorrow.

Sunday, May 19 - 9:52 pm - Getting set for the new week.  Much, much shorter list for each of the work days.  Left a lot on the weekend.  Some can be done early if I get ahead of the game.  Some still might not get done.  But trying to simplify this whole thing.  I'm overdue for a weigh-in, but my last one had me up, and I'm only going to report when I go down.  If it takes a long time, that will just look bad.
