Edit Yourself (A Work-Related Post)

This industrial-strength microwave has letters around the dial. Why? Nothing on the machine itself makes reference to them. They're extraneous. Maybe a different model uses them and it probably won't sway someone not to buy this microwave (we have 8 or 9 in one cafeteria alone at work) but it just feels sloppy. Is there anything about your product or service that is extraneous, no longer serves a purpose, or causes unnecessary friction?
