Around here it went up about 20 cents since the last time I filled up... sometime last week, I think. I did see a picture online of stations down south selling gas for $6.00 a gallon. To say the owners of those stations are going to hell is putting it mildly.
Rumor turned out to be false, but they are predicting that it will go up, as the price they are charging today per gallon may not be as much as they have to pay tomorrow to buy a new gallon to sell.
We purchased that evening at $2.87 and it's now $2.91 at that station. Across the street it's gotta be at least $3.01. They're usually 10 cents more.
