I'm pretty sure my recent Twitter correspondence with Lowes was actually a conversation with a very basic Artificial Intelligence. (Yeah, I said it - Lowes Social Media - ya basic.)
I don't know if it can tweet on its own, or if it just suggests the next response and someone approves it. It has all the hallmarks of impersonality:
1. Overuse of my name
2. Generic responses that lack context
3. Extreme non-committal / zero pledge to action
4. Not even that little ^ with initials that a lot of social media teams use to indicate that a person made the response.
Bleep bleep blorp bloop, Lowes.
