When I see Terrefugia, I think "fugly" - and yet I'm sure it's "Terra-foo-ghjee-uh" or something. It would be cool, but it wouldn't be pretty. Yeah, c'mon flying cars. From Engadget.com

You have no idea what it would like and for you to say it would not these be pretty hese college students have come along way and who knows this may be the best thing that has happend in the history of mankind but for you to say that it's like you saying nothing is possible. Don't you think that the people in the 1950's and the 1940's thought that going to the moon was vagely impossible and now kids and people every where know that it's possible and that they can do it if they put their minds to it. But I think that it would be good because it would cut down on the tie it takes to work and it would cut down on the amoutn of money that most middle class amercians pay for gas. They are spending $20.00 for gas and only getting 1/4 gallon. So please think befor you say somthing about their work. because 1, You did not design it of work on it and two it took a lot of time and hard work on their part. So please think next time. Thank You and so you know that im not a cowerd i'll put my name.
Ah, Bridget you miss the point entirely. I think. I had a hard time following what you were trying to say there.
I am all for flying cars. Bring on the flying cars.
I do not think the vehicle is ugly. I think the name is.
However, I know of no American paying $80/gallon. Perhaps you mean $20 for a quarter of a tank of gas?
I would also be surprised if people would be using these to fly to work. For a long time they will remain the toys of the rich. It will take many, many, many years and advances in safety before these are commuter vehicles.
